Richard built successful technology businesses throughout his career as an investor, operator and entrepreneur. He is a founder and General Partner of Mt. Weather Capital, where he constructed a portfolio of several successful companies. Richard served as a General Partner of RedShift Ventures, an early stage technology venture capital firm, and produced multiple successful exits including Cronos Integrated Microsystems (acquired by JDS Uniphase, NASDAQ: JDSU), MDLinx (acquired by a division of Sony, NYSE: SNE), Intelliworks (acquired by a division of Daily Mail, LON: DMGT), Woodwind Communications (acquired by Vina Technologies), and Telarix (acquired by Brown Brothers Harriman). Richard continues to serve as a board member or advisor to several technology companies and is a member of the investment committee for a family office focused on clean energy investments. He received an MBA and JD from the University of Maryland, and a BA in Economics from Denison University.
As Chief Operating Officer for Addthis, Hal is responsible for Advertiser and Publisher Solutions, Data Licensing, Business Development, Operations and Marketing. He is instrumental in growing revenue and profit across product lines, and bringing new, innovative solutions to market that deliver value to AddThis customers around the world. Prior to AddThis, Hal served as President of Kontera, a leading content marketing platform where he was responsible for Marketing, Sales, Client Services, Business Development and the Kontera Publisher Network. Previous to Kontera, Hal served as Vice President of Sales and Account Management for DoubleClick and prior to that spent ten years at Experian in various leadership positions helping the company to evolve into a standalone global marketing information services and data company.
Matt leads platform development at AddThis and is responsible for the AddThis network infrastructure. He has been applying his expertise in distributed systems and machine learning to multiple businesses and industries over the past fifteen years. Prior to joining the AddThis team, Matt served as Vice President of Delivery and Chief Architect at Quantum Retail Technology. He holds an MS in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Computer Systems Engineering from Union College.
Scott is responsible for public relations and marketing at AddThis. Prior to joining the AddThis team, Scott was Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at Rakuten LinkShare where he was responsible for global public relations, corporate marketing, events and sales support. Scott has also held marketing management positions at Quark, EMC and IBM\Lotus. Scott earned his M.B.A. from Boston University and a bachelors degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Peggy is responsible for our growth strategy with advertisers and the AddThis publisher networks. Prior to joining AddThis, Peggy was vice president of Ad Sales for Netflix, where she developed and launched an online and offline targeted advertising platform for the entertainment community. Peggy has also served as president of Smashing Entertainment and vice president of interactive marketing for the AOL Entertainment Group at America Online.
Mike is head of business development and leads data licensing and legal initiatives for AddThis. He has held senior business development and corporate development positions with technology companies for more than 15 years. He was a Vice President at AOL and AOL Time Warner and key member of the business development and mergers and acquisitions teams. Mike was also the CEO of a Message Level, an email security company. Mike earned his AB cum laude from Harvard College and his JD cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center.
