Today we pushed out a bunch of awesome new updates, which I’m really excited about. Here’s a run down of all the new stuff…

We’ve updated the site design. There is now brand new navigation for the site as well as a new footer. (See the screenshots above.) Hope this will make it easier for you to find your way around the Web site.

We’ve added a site wide search. It searches across everything, including the forum, blog posts, and help articles. This should make it super easy to find that one forum or blog post that you need to learn how to customize the AddThis sharing experience just the way you want to.

We’ve updated our analytics. For those of you who saw our beta analytics, this should look pretty familiar.

One of the most exciting additions is that you can now break out your stats by domain. Within the analytics, if you go to any of the pages other than the summary, you’ll see a pull down menu that lets you filter by domain. This is something that a lot of you (and I) have been asking for it and it’s finally here. 

One thing to note as well, when you login to your AddThis account, you’ll now be presented right away with your analytics. No more digging around to find the link.

Last but not least, we’ve added an AddThis swag store. You can now profess your love for sharing online by buying an AddThis t-shirt, polo, hoodie or even track jacket. Be on the lookout for me, as I’ll be traveling the country attending conferences this year and rocking out of some of this rad AddThis gear.

I have to give mad props to our user experience, design, and dev guys for all the work they’ve been doing on this release. They’ve been working really hard on all this and it really looks hot. I’d highly recommend checking out our Creative Director Jeff Wong’s blog post on the redesign. It goes into more detail about some of the design considerations that were taken.

We wanted to quickly tell you about one of our friends, JS-Kit. They’re a powerful threaded commenting system that connects your blog to a community of over 600,000 sites.

Visitors can now track their comments, use their Facebook login & avatar on your site, upload photos, embed YouTube videos, and much more. This community building service is easy to install, simple to customize, and comes with fine grained controls.

We did a release this morning and added some cool features. Here’s a rundown:

We’ve added a whole new service to the AddThis menu… printing. Just click “Print” and it will print the page that you’re on. (See screenshot above.) Pretty simple but pretty awesome. This means you can also add the print service to the hover menu. The value you’ll need is just “print”. Enjoy!

Secondly, within the beta analytics, you’ll now start seeing e-mail sharing being included as a service in the Top Services report. (See screenshot above.)

At AddThis, when we reach a company milestone, we like to take some time to reflect and celebrate the accomplishment. Well, today we’re celebrating two milestones.

We’ve passed 10,000 members in the AddThis Developer Forum. The forum is a relatively new part of the community. It was added back 3 months ago in November 2008. To see this much growth really demonstrates the extent to which AddThis is becoming ubiquitous within the marketplace.

Secondly, we’ve passed 10,000 downloads of the new AddThis WordPress plug-in. This is just since we launched the updated version at the end of December 2008.

We truly thank you all for your support. Together, we’re making it easier for your content to be shared and moved to every corner of the Social Web.
