Just about a month and a half ago we recognized the milestone of reaching 10,000 members of our forum community. Well, as of today, we’re well over 20,000 members of our forum.
We appreciate all of you so much for taking some time out of your day to help participate in the conversation around AddThis. Together, we’ve made it the industry recognized leading sharing tool on the Web. With your help, thoughts, and feedback, we’ll continue to make it even better.
Speaking of our forum – This month we are the featured forum for phpBBHacks.com. phpBB is the software that we use to power our forum. We are flattered by the recognition.

Hey guys, a few of you have been asking about how to opt out of the current test that we’re running. This info has been up on the forum but I wanted to highlight it here also.
You just have to add the line below to your AddThis code:
var addthis_test0309 = false;
So the top of the code would be:

Probably one of the most exciting parts of working on AddThis is seeing the button pop up all over the Web. When we see someone new that’s using it, there is always a small wave of excitement that goes through the office. This was definitely the case when we found out that the button was added to Meryl Streep’s Official Web site.
On the Web site, you can learn more about this acclaimed actress, like her work in the the film industry, theater, television, and her support of many amazing causes. There is also a library of articles, speeches, and interviews that Ms. Streep has done over the years.
At AddThis, a central thesis of ours is that sharing is at the center of discovery. By sharing using AddThis on Web sites like Ms. Streep’s, you can help whole new generations of users discover it, making the content that much more timeless.
