Months ago, we announced direct integration with Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail address books right from the AddThis menu. Based on feedback and testing, we are making this feature opt-in.
You’ll have to use our API to turn it on versus it being on for everyone by default. In addition to making this feature opt-in, we’ll be adding Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail as services within the AddThis menu. When you click on those services, a new tab will be popped up in
your browser, and your e-mail service will open up.
We’re expecting this to be released sometime the middle of next month. We just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
