Floating Vertical Buttons

By popular demand, we’ve designed floating vertical buttons to scroll with your visitors as they read your content. This makes sharing convenient and simple.

The vertical bar comes in a variety of sizes. By default, it floats on the top left side of the page, to make your sharing tools always visible. It’s easy to implement and won’t interfere with your site.

If you’ve installed this tool on your site, drop us a line so we can feature it. Here are some folks using it:

this is really nice new look to the addthis share buttons.
We only hoped you make this buttons easier to customise and implement on our various website. Other company with similar services have put this into consideration.
    Still like this though.

The vertical buttons look awesome. Any idea when they’ll be available with the AddThis WordPress Plugin?

I want to enable the vertical buttons in addition to the buttons I already have but I don’t see any option in the word press plugin that says anything about floating buttons…

Can you explain how to enable?

    Thanks.

I love the floating vertical button look! Any idea if you guys will be adding this feature to your WordPress plug-in? The current plug-in works great but doesn’t offer the floating aspect, which is great to have right there no matter where you’re reading on a page.

    Thanks!

Yep, I concur with all those above who ask: When will you add this capability to the AddThis plugin for WordPress?
The sooner the better, folks, as it will make the existing plugin just that much nicer again. Cheers.

Hi, we’ve changed to the 16×16 vertical floating bar but really need the Pinterest & G+1 buttons for it too. When will they be working? Right now, they overlap the bar. Thanks!

Can you please make this easier to costumize for users. Someone like me would like to remove the share button and add stumbleupon, digg and pinterest. If there is an easy, let us know.

Thanks for posting. I have found Linkedin is not well supported here. The floating is great, but it floats at a fixed pixel distance from the side of the left side of the screen. Would like to see it float on the left of the left side of my page (sorry for the confusion here, sure you understand), pretty much the standard from all the web pages I visit.
    Thanks

I’m sorry guys, but I cannot figure out how to do this for my WP site. Is it possible to add a vertical floating addthis bar working from within the WP addthis plugin itself? If so, how?

If not possible to do this from within the WP addthis plugin directly, could you provide instructions for the inexperienced amongst us on how to do this step by step? Thanks!!!!

  • Andre

    Hi guys,

Can you please give a reply about how to add this usind the WP Plugin? With the Plugin we can only add butons on top or bottom, but not the vertical floating bar.

    Thanks
