Thanksgiving Data Trends to Gobble Over [Infographic]

Thanksgiving is a holiday characterized by food comas, friends, and family. While some traditions stand strong among American families, diet trends and new events have shaken up the typical Thanksgiving celebration. Using data from the AddThis network, we looked at social data trends of traditional and non-traditional Thanksgivings.

We found that Pinterest was a popular place for sharing traditional and non-traditional recipes alike, while staples-like turkey recipes are being printed for easy access. Events like turkey trots, which have risen in popularity over the past few years, are generating a strong social presence. Keeping in mind how your audience is engaging with holiday content and keeping an eye on up-and-coming trends will allow you to stay relevant and reach the right audience.
