Get Conversions with Your New Welcome Bar

addthis-welcome-bar

We heard a number of requests from the community to bring the Welcome Bar into your AddThis Dashboard. Now you can add the Welcome Bar to your website to start getting conversions without having to change your code!

The Welcome Bar is a great way to help increase conversions on your website. Some of our community members have told us they use the Welcome Bar to promote a link with a call to action, get email subscribers, or to show a custom sharing message to people visiting from a particular social network.

We want to hear from you. What kinds of goals do you want to drive with the Welcome Bar? What do you think of the Welcome Bar’s layout? Is it the right one for your website?

And are there other overlays or in-page tools we could build that would help you promote and measure your conversion goals?

Add this conversion tool to your website now, and let us know what your thoughts are on the Welcome Bar and what kind of functionality you’d use. We’re always looking for ways to help you get shares, follows, and conversions. Tell us in the comments below!

The same issue has returned. The welcome bar is hiding the follow layer.

What behavior would you prefer? Our thought was that conversions are more important than most other goals, but we’re open to suggestions.

Its not that at all XD. I remember in the other welcome bar we could manually set the zindex for the follow layer and the welcome bar to be shown as one. This made a very good looking bar for us.

Hey Scott, is it live on your site? What’s your URL so we can take a look?
