Black Friday and Cyber Monday are two of the biggest shopping holidays of the year, with $57.4B and $2.29B spent last year. While these shoppers have some things in common, like an affinity for deals from Walmart, we found differences in what they’re buying, who they are, and how they engage.

Most retailers have already posted their Black Friday deals, and sharing about the shopping day has increased 55% this year. Buyers are researching past Cyber Monday deals, signing up for retailers’ emails for the inside scoop on the bargains, and spreading the word to their friends on Facebook.
