One of our goals with AddThis is to make it easy for anyone to share anything, anywhere. With this release, we’ve added sharing services that are popular in 13 countries outside of the United States, including countries like Bosnia and Iran.
The Social Web is a vast and diverse place. Some may think most sharing happens on Facebook and Twitter but that’s just not the case. Even taken together, they only represent about 43% of AddThis sharing. Outside of the United States, there’s a lot of sharing happening with services that are popular with a particular country or language.
For a website publisher, especially one with international reach, AddThis provides a single solution for getting your content shared to every corner of the Social Web. In addition to supporting 271 services, our menu is translated into 60 languages.
Are there any services that we’re missing? Please let us know. You can submit the service right now.
For those of you who’ve submitted services but are still waiting for approval, we apologize for the wait. We’ve gotten a tremendous amount of response and it’s taken longer to sort through them than we’ve thought. We appreciate your patience.
We’re excited to continue to evolve our universal sharing platform AddThis so that it can provide the most possible value. If there’s anything else that we can do, please let us know.
